Radu Lupu (1945-2022) was a Romanian pianist, widely recognised as one of the greatest pianists of his time. He performed for KCMS in the 1980s and 1990s and was invite to be one of our Vice Presidents. Brahms, Schubert and Schumann were composers often present in his recital programmes, and the acclaimed Italian pianist Simone Alessandro Tavoni has drawn together a programme dedicated to his memory.
