Barbara Ballantyne, and her husband John were staunch supporters of KCMS, and the musical life of London in general. Mexican guitarist and friend of Barbara, Morgan Szymanski (‘One to Watch’ – Gramophone Magazine & BBC Music Magazine) and her great-nephew Magid El-Bushra (“a true countertenor discovery” – Der Tagesspiegel) come together for a very special concert. We are also pleased to welcome soprano Laura Mitchell (“Laura Mitchell’s soprano moulds the troubled psyche of her role with high musical intelligence” – The Times)
