Ludwig van Beethoven Trio in E-flat major, Op. 38

Alexander von Zemlinsky Trio, Op. 3
Mátyás Seiber Introduction & Allegro

The Delphine Trio returns to perform for KCMS, following a wonderful recital at St George’s Church in our 2021-22 season; we are delighted that they have been chosen to be Leighton House’s 2023-24 ensemble in residence, an award granted in association with the Royal College of Music. Their programme brings together works from the Classical, Romantic and 20th century eras: Beethoven’s monumental E-flat trio, Alexander von Zemlinsky’s wonderfully lyrical trio and, to conclude, a thrilling work by the Hungarian-born British composer Mátyás Seiber.
